We choose this hotel for two reasons; past reviews and price. I agree completely with past good reviews of this motel. We were on a family vacation driving through the area and need someplace for a rest stop. It is an older hotel but don't let the outside scare you away. The rooms were clean and most important to me in the bathrooms there was no mold. We arrived late as I had already discussed when making the reservation. They had saved us the only adjoining rooms they had. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They have a small breakfast bar in the morning stocked with biscuit and gravy that was tasty. I will definitely stop here again.
Small but love the vanity. One of the rooms needed carpet cleaning. Do offer Wifi pretty good signal. They offer breakfast the gravy for biscuit and gravy biscuits were hard so don't stay for the breakfast lol was runny I personally didn't like it
We’ve stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and roomy. We got a king bed this time, and it was comfortable! The breakfast was great. Internet has a strong connection, and great speed. Friendly service! Great people. We loved the recliner and desk in the room. We stayed one week this time. We will be back! No complaints at all! 5 star!
The motel was very nice on the inside. We slept really well on the bed. Very clean and no odors of any kind. It's not a glamor motel the furniture was well cared for retro style. We had a king size bed, fridge, microwave and a quite night. Very much will check them out if we get back down there.
Nice clean room. The carpet was the softest carpet I've stepped on in a motel room. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. The other quests next to us, were respectful and kept the noise down. We didn't even hear them. They served breakfast of more than donuts. If we are in the area again and need a motel, I'd not hesitate on getting a room there.
I stayed a week with my 2 children my husband and my chihuahua while we waited for our new home to be ready. Not only was it the best rate in town but it was a peaceful relaxing experience. The housekeeping staff were kind and the management was kind and accommodating.This is definitely a motel that I would recommend in the west plains area.
When I tell you don't judge a book by its cover this is definitely one of those places the outside seems plain but when you step inside the room it is a whole new world I was blown away on how beautiful the rooms were looked and have well they were kept. Rates were very reasonable for the room we got. I do believe if they beautify the outside they could actually charge a little more All in all it was a very nice stay.
Ed was really wonderful to my husband and I after our boat accident. He went out of his way to be a caring person and help us out. Very cheap rooms. There was a lot of work being done on the place when we were there, looks like great renovations :)
